I just seen this on TheTimesHerald.com (Port Huron Newspaper). Heres what it said:
Two Kimball Township firefighters sustained minor injuries after a firetruck ran off the road and rolled into a Richman Road ditch about 12:30 p.m
The firefighters were taken to Mercy Hospital.
Kimball Township fire Chief John Gorski was unsure why the tanker fire truck went in the ditch near the corner of Richman and Smiths Creek Road. He was also unsure of the extent of the damage to the truck.
Richman road has been temporarily closed as officials attempt to pull the truck out of the ditch. The water from the truck has by emptied to lighten the load.
Firefighters were responding to a fire on Carmen Drive.

I've had similar things happen in my own dept. Those tanker trucks have a LOT of weight on them and they don't exactly stop on a dime, sometimes not even a dollar bill. Our tanker truck carries only 2,000 gallons of water which works out to about 16,000 pounds (8 tons). Factor in the weight of the truck (16 tons), add it all together (24 tons) and you've got a situation that could potentially be very bad. I've had to help peel people out of these things and I know how dangerous they can be.

From the size of that truck I'd estimate it was carrying 2,000 to 3,000 gallons of water. Maybe 3,500 at the very most and that would be stretching it.

Yeah, the Truck was Kimball Township's Water unit #2. And here it is, and it is pretty big.
